As I live in Taiwan, I am in a different time zone than my UK University and one of the best things about RDI is having a Hong Kong branch here in Asia. This means that inquiries can be dealt with very quickly. In particular, Mrs. Doris Ng has been extremely efficient at answering queries and has been very patient. Even when there was a mix up at my Taiwan bank in wiring a payment to RDI Hong Kong, she very patiently gave answers to a number of questions and we managed to sort the issue out very quickly. Such back up is extremely important as students working online can feel isolated. Less time is wasted than having to wait for a reply from the UK, which is 8 hours behind us in time, potentially wasting a day's study time if there is a problem
